Born and raised in China, they were supposed to be a child of the red flag. After accidentally discovering at the age of 14 that the Chinese Communist Party was hiding the truth about what happened in Beijing on June 4, 1989, they were set on a path of no return to politics. This led to their determination to study in Italy, without knowing a word of Italian, with the ambition of becoming citizens of the European Union.
